Emergency Food Box Program
Anyone in need of food assistance can present a photo ID and register with Matthew's Crossing to receive (1) Emergency Food Box each month. Emergency Food Boxes are comprised of nutritionally balanced non-perishable foods, designed to feed a family of (4) for up to three days. When available perishable items will be included and may include: bread, milk, meat, fresh produce, and bakery items. Sample of food items in the Emergency Food Boxes include: pasta, rice, beans, canned fruits and vegetables, soup, cereal, dry milk, and canned meats.
*Emergency Food Boxes are available Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Holiday Food Bag Program
Clients who have received food assistance from Matthew's Crossing anytime in 2012, qualify for a free Holiday Food Bag at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Easter Holiday Meals will be handed out on Thursday, April 5th. Holiday Food Bags include turkey or ham and all of the holiday trimmings to feed a family of 4-6 people. Holiday Food Bags are given out on a first come first serve basis, and are limited to availability. If you are interested in hosting a food drive for this program, or being a sponsor - please contact
executivedirector@matthewscrossing.org for more information. In 2011, Matthew's Crossing provided 1000 families with Holiday Meals. That is an increase of over 400% from 2010. Thanks to your generosity we are able to continue this program for the 2012 year. To donate to our Holiday Meals Program

Supplemental Food Box Program
Anyone in need of food assistance can present a photo ID and register with Matthew's Crossing to receive a Supplemental Food Box every Friday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Supplemental Food Boxes are comprised of nutritionally balanced non-perishable foods designed to provide some additional sustenance for individuals/families in need. When available, perishable items will be included. Perishable items can include: bread, bakery items, and fresh produce.
*Supplemental Food Boxes are available every Friday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm or when supplies run out.
Infant Food Box Program
Late in 2011 Matthew’s Crossing started to provide Infant Food Boxes. The program will provide 1 (one) Infant Food Box per child listed in the family. Infant Food Boxes may include: baby food, diapers, wipes, shampoo, formula (if needed). Please ask when you check in if you are in need of an Infant Food Box.
Non-Food Items
Matthew's Crossing receives donations of toiletry items and diapers. When these items are available, they are distributed when requested. Please inquire for specific items in need when obtaining either of the Food Box programs.
